It’s Small Business September! We’re rounding up small business owners around the neighborhood and giving them a spotlight this month to share news about their shops and upcoming events or promotions, and answer questions from you, the community.
Whether it’s about hours, safety protocol, how to order products or services – whatever is on your mind! 2021 is still a tough time both for residents and business owners, so let’s work together to figure out how to support each other as best we can.

Wednesday 9/15, 5-7pm: R.House Community Kitchen – Free meal for low income neighbors. Get the voucher for the free meal and more details at the Guardian Angel food pantry Wednesday morning.
Tuesday 9/28, 5:30pm Druid Lake Vision Meeting #3 (In-Person Option) – at the Sundial Pavilion. Third and final In-person public meeting to review proposed concepts for the Druid Lake Vision Plan. Register through: druidlakevisionplan3.eventbrite.com to receive updates, especially for weather-related schedule changes.
Thursday 9/30, 5:30pm Druid Lake Vision Meeting #3 (Virtual Option) – if you can’t attend on the 28th or prefer an online option, the same information and plans will be presented on Microsoft Teams. Register through: druidlakevisionplan3.eventbrite.com
Wednesday 10/6, 7-8:00pm: GRIA Land Use Committee Meeting. The link to the virtual meeting will be updated and can be found at griaonline.org/zoom. You do not need to be a voting member to attend these meetings.
Saturday 10/30, 9am: Last Dumpster Day of 2021. We’ll post a reminder next month too, but folks have already been asking, so save the date. Dumpster will be located at 30th and Huntingdon Ave and as always, we will have a pickup option available if needed. We’ll have a community street/alley cleanup that morning as well.
