The murals are coming! And you’re invited! Internationally acclaimed muralist Gaia will be painting three murals throughout Remington this fall and we need your ideas! Come and let your voice be heard during our upcoming interactive design workshops, taking place the first week in September. Gaia will translate our ideas into a mural concept and paint it across three sites in Remington. Watch the murals go up in September and October!

Coordinator: Jessica Hudson

Workshop date/location: Wednesday, 9/6, at Ignatius Street, 6-8 pm, behind the 300 block of Wyman Park Drive where it meets the 3100 block of Remington Ave

Mural location #2: wall facing the playground at Hampden and Fawcett

Coordinator: Laura White

Workshop date/location: Thursday, 9/7, 6-8 pm, at the Fawcett Street playground

Mural location #3: house at 26th and Hampden

Coordinator: Hilary Rosensteel

Workshop date/location: Friday, 9/8, 6-8 pm, at Kromer Hall, 335 W. 27th Street

Together, these three murals will form Remington’s Mural Mile!
