From a letter sent by the Northern District Police:
The Northern and Northeastern Districts have identified a pattern of armed robberies that have occurred along The Alameda corridor. These robberies are primarily occurring in the early morning hours between 5 am -7 am where the suspects are targeting people on the street or at bus stops. The robberies have occurred in the 4400 and 5500 blocks of The Alameda, the 1100 block of E. Northern Parkway, 800 block of Argonne Dr. and the 1500 block of Winford Rd. The latest incident involving these suspects occurred yesterday at 5 am in the 3300 block of Beech Ave. where a citizen fled on foot as soon as two of the suspects exited the rear of the car. The citizen was able to safely make it back in to his home where he immediately called the police.
The suspects have been reported to be armed with a gun, a knife and a machete or sword. The suspects are described as :
SUSPECT #1 – Male / Black / Dark comp / 5-07 / 130 (thin) / Dark hoody (poss. black or dark blue) / 17-20 yoa / Possible short hair (wearing a Black neoprene cold weather half face mask with pointed nose and hoody was up)
SUSPECT #2 – Male / Black / Light comp / 5-10 / 145 (thin) / Dark hoody (poss. green) / 17-20 yoa / Possible short hair (wearing a Black neoprene cold weather half face mask with pointed nose and hoody was up)
SUSPECT #3 – Male / Black / Gray hoody / 21 yoa / 5-10 to 5-11 / 160 / Dread locks (wearing a Black neoprene cold weather half face mask with pointed nose and hoody was up)
The suspects are driving around in a 4 door silver or gold colored sedan possibly a 2005 to 2008 Nissan Maxima or Chevy Impala with dark tinted windows.
